Synthetic Clusters are classified in-game as a World Object. The clusters are found floating out in the World at low altitudes, and you can use your Deck Extractor (or other Extractor Variants) to earn yourself 5 Synthetics. Be careful about running into them with your Airship, as they can damage it!
