Rotten Food can be found at Overgrown Towers, but the main method of acquiring it is to simply let food expire. Almost all types of Flora and Fauna will decay into Rotten Food once their decay timer expires. To avoid this, put the food into a Freezer or Large Freezer; this will stop the decay timer.
