The Pyrexia Virus (Item) can only be obtained by Crafting it.

Pyrexia (Item) is only used to craft the Endurance Booster.
Recipe Unlock Information / Crafting[]
Pyrexia (Item) is produced by scanning Crustpede Meat or Dirty Water in the Virus Sample Analyzer.

Completing the Virus Minigame will give you the item. Once the Minigame is completed once per item, that item can be used to craft another Purified Virus without playing the Minigame another time.
The first time you create the purified Pyrexia Virus, you will also unlock the Research Recipes for: Endurance Booster, Capsaisin.
