Acquisition
The Deck Extractor can only be acquired by crafting it in the Fabricator.
Uses[]
The Deck Extractor is used to gather Resources that are flying around in the world. It must be placed on a Catwalk on the outside of the Airship. Resources gathered by the Deck Extractor will automatically be added to the player's inventory if there's enough space for it. You can move the Deck Extractor by picking it up by holding the "Q" key. I can turn approximately 160° horizontally and vertically.
The 5 resources you will typically gather with it are: Metals, Synthetics, Glass, Silicon and Copper.
The deck extractor is much faster in extracting than the hand extractor and doesn't require charging

The Deck Extractor is unlocked as a research recipe upon scanning the Broken Deck Extractor on the Descent to the Underdust
