Improvised power plants built on high-rise steel structures. Produced electrical power for a nearby district. Source of copper, electronic resources and helium.
Command centers were used to coordinate the work of other Wind Farms. A large structure built around the main pillar of the structure served as a space for operators.
Structure[]
If it is your first visit to a Command Center, you will be able to find the Wrecked Freezer that you can scan for research.
Landing Pad[]
Like most Wind Farms, this location has a dedicated landing pad that is also the highest point on the tower, usually around 240 MaSL. No loot can be found in this area, but the area features 2-3 sets of stairs that circle the platform, with some ladders mixed in as well leading to the Scaffolds area.
Scaffolds[]
After coming down from the landing pad, you'll find shoddy metal scaffolding and catwalks that will extend out to at least 2 wind-turbine housings. Before reaching the turbines area though, you'll typically find Helium canisters lying about. The majority of the scaffolding, though, is taken up by the structure hanging underneath the landing pad.
Structure[]
You're able to enter the upper floor of the structure and find various Resources. A staircase can take you down to the middle floor, however you're only able to access about half of it. In order to access to the other half, you need to return to the upper floor an exit back to the scaffolding. While outside, you'll find an area where you can drop down onto scaffolding that surrounds the middle floor. You will be required to make a jump between gaps in a catwalk, but afterwards you'll be able to reenter the middle floor from the other side and find a ladder that leads you to the bottom floor.
Wind-Turbine Housings[]
While the scaffolds area will usually lead to at least two of these, if you look around the general area you'll find that there are several more Wind-Turbines, some can be as high as the location itself and others are nearly falling over and hanging just above the dust. Inside of these turbine housings, Copper can be found, along with some Artifacts depending on the location. Some housings will only have a skeletal structure instead of being fully enclosed, so if approaching on foot be careful.
